Ever since GTA4's teaser trailer has been launched, people have been really eager to know the size of city featured in the game. While the previous installment: "San Andreas" was quite big for a previous generation console game, people are speculating that the size of the landmass of this new outing of GTA will be actually smaller than that of the previous one but infact more detailed.
This what we know about the locations thus far.

Broker is the GTA IV equivalent of Brooklyn, Manhattan is now called Algonquin, Queens is now Dukes, the Bronx is Bohan, and New Jersey is Alderney (after the Channel Island of the same name.

Thus keeping the things we know in mind, there is a google map that has outlined the real locations on which the game is based upon, in order to estimate exactly how big GTA4 would be in terms of the landmass. Very interesting indeed. Click on the picture below for more:
