Yep..... It's true and the fact of the matter is that even if you have lived under the caves of "The Himalayas" for the past thirty years, you must have heard about the "RAZR". That's how iconic this series of phones from motorola have become. And now they have officially announced that the "RAZR 2"(the title is kinda cliched) is well under it's way. Here's what Engadget has to say:Motorola has today officially unveiled the successor to one of the most iconic mobiles ever made, the RAZR 2. Available in 3.6Mbps HSDPA (V9), EV-DO (V9m), and GSM / EDGE variants (V8), the GSM and CDMA versions of the device comes in 2 millimeters slimmer than its predecessor and -- on some versions, anyway -- will be the second to use Motorola's new Linux-based platform (the first being the Z6). It includes something Moto is calling "Crystal Talk" technology that automatically adjusts volume and tone based on ambient noise. Other features include external music controls, haptics (read: vibration) for tactile feedback when external touchscreen keys are pressed, a full HTML browser, 2 megapixel cam, the full suite of Bluetooth profiles, Windows Media Player sync, a 2-inch QVGA external display, 2.2-inch QVGA internal display, and twice the screen resolution of the original RAZR. GSM versions start shipping in early July, with CDMA following up later in the summer.
Like it? But then who cares, since It's the next-gen RAZR, and it's probably going to sell like hot cakes in any case despite the fact that the previous gen RAZR had several shortcomings (clunky menu, anyone?)

What is it about?
It's best defined- A miniature IPod without the LCD and slew of other features subtracted. It's got 1 GB built in memory. It basically plays only songs, podcasts and some audio-books. See the picture and you will get a better idea.
Why did I buy it?
'Cause I liked it. The small size enticed me to buy it. It's good for running, working out and doing other similar activities. You can also use it to cheat in your paper. Just record each chapter of the subject and encode it into MP3 format. Cycle through the chapters for the desired effect. Getting away with headphones in your ear is something you have to deal with.
What I like about it?
Well let me see....... Small size (Duhhhh. It single-handily voids the condition of "size does matter"), 1 GB memory, Ability to play podcast, audio books and Apple Loss less formats. Very light. At times you might even forget that you carrying it on you. Battery life is very good
What I don't like about it?
LED- sometimes you can't figure what the f*** are the lights tryin' to tell you. Sound quality sucks in comparison to it's big brothers. No equalizers. Body is fragile, so expect to scratch it easily.
How many songs does it store?
Around 240ish
Should you buy it?
If you don't want your IPOD cluttered with photos, videos, and countless songs at the same time, then you should go for this one. If that's not the case, then i suggest go for one of the older brothers.

Hey Andy, I want my cat to produce off-springs. So what should I do?
Make her a MySpace profile and see if she hooks up with some other cat. *giggles*
